Baijnath Dalhousie Trek
Baijnath - Barabhangal - Dalhousie Trek takes us through lush pine forests and a network of hill trails that dominate the Kullu Valley. Kullu was originally called Kulantapith, the end of the habitable world. The picturesque valley is drained by the Beas and fringed by the Pir Panjal range to the north and the Bara Bhangal range to the east.
The trek passes through interesting alpine meadows, turbulent streams and offers excellent views of glaciers and snow topped peaks.
Itinerary (Baijnath - Bara Bhangal - Dalhousie Trek):

Day 1 (New Delhi, India):
Arrive Delhi. Meet our representative. Trek begins. Board overnight train to Pathankot. Overnight in train.
Day 2 (Pathankot - Bir Khas):
On second day of Baijnath - Bara Bhangal - Dalhousie Trek, we reach Pathankot in the morning. After breakfast, we drive to Bir Khas. Bir Khas is famous for aero sports.
Day 3 (Bir Khas - Raj Gaunda, 2530 M):
On third day, we reach Raj Gaunda. Overnight in Raj Gaunda.
Day 4 (Raj Gaunda - Palachak Deota, 2743 M):
Next destination of trek is Palachak Deota, and en route are natural forests with beautiful views of the valley. Overnight in Palachak Deota.
Day 5 (Palachak Deota - Panardu Got, 3658 M):
We trek for 8 km to reach Panardu Got, en route are beautiful meadows. Overnight in camp.
Day 6 (Panardu Got - Thamsar Jot, 4739 M):
The trek is via Bharpal Got (3964 M), Thamsar Jot is gradual and can be crossed easily, This divides Chhota and Bara Bhangal. Overnight in Thamsar Jot.
Day 7 (Thamsar - Bara Bhangal, 2548 M):
On the 7th day, we reach Bara Bhangal. Bara Bhangal has an area of 290 miles but contains only one village situated at the lowest point of the valley and inhabited by Kanet families, One more than three sides the mountains slopes steeply up from the very banks of the river and rises into peaks from 5182 M to 6000 M.
Day 8 (Bara Bhangal - Dhardi, 1830 M):
Trek continues and we reach Dhardi after covering 23 km. Overnight in Dhardi.
Day 9 (Dhardi- Naya Gaon, 1677 M):
We again cover around 23 km to reach Naya Gaon. Overnight in Naya Gaon.
Day 10 (Naya Gaon - Holi, 1524 mts):
We cover 15 km to reach Holi. Overnight in Holi.
Day 11 (Holi - Bharmour, 2130 M):
We first reach Bharmour from Holi and then drive to Chamba to visit the temples and make a visit to the village to interact with the locals and we get a glimpse of their culture. Overnight in Chamba.
Day 12 (Chamba - Baijnath):
We drive back to Baijnath via Dalhousie. We visit en route Bhuri Singh Museum and temples in Chamba. Overnight in Baijnath.
Day 13 (Baijnath - Chandigarh):
Four our journey back to New Delhi, we take the other axis and drive to Chandigarh and en route we visit places of tourist interest. In Chandigarh, we board an overnight train to reach Delhi.
Day 14 (New Delhi):
We reach New Delhi in Morning. Transfer to airport for flight to onwards journey. Baijnath - Bara Bhangal - Dalhousie Trek concludes.
