Itinerary (Blue Poppy or Myar Valley Trek):
New Delhi - Chail - Kalpa - Lambar - Charang - Lalanti - Chitkul- Tabo - Losar -Manali - New Delhi

Day 1 (New Delhi, India):
Arrive Delhi. Meet Gypsy Feet representative. Blue Poppy or Myar Valley Trek begins. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2 (New Delhi - Manali):
On second day of Blue Poppy or Myar Valley Trek, we take a morning train to Chandigarh. Arrive chandigarh. Transfer to Manali. Overnight in Manali.
Day 3 (Manali):
Full day sightseeing of Manali. Overnight Manali.
Day 4 (Manail - Udaipur):
Drive from Manali to Udaipur (2743 m) over Rohtang Pass (3980 m) by jeep and visit Triloknath temple of Shiva and Mrikula Devi Temple. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 5 (Udaipur - Chimrat, 15 kms):
From Udaipur to Shakoli we follow the right bank of Myar nullah. At Shakoli we cross the bridge to reach Chimrat on the left bank of the nullah. Valley broadens from Shakoli. Good patches of juniper trees can be seen around. Camp outside the village.
Day 6 (Chimrat - Urgos, 14 kms):
We trek upto Karpat along the left bank. Cross the bridge to follow the right bank till you reach the camping site at Urgos. Churput, Chamgut, Tingret and Gumba villages are on the way.
Day 7 (Urgos - Khanjar, 15 kms):
On the 8th day of Blue Poppy or Myar Valley Trek, we cross the nullah at Challing village to reach the last village of this valley, namely, Khanjar. Local people go to Zangskar for trade pruposes. Overnight in camp.
Day 8 (Khanjar - Gumba, 8 km):
The Blue Poppy or Myar Valley Trek continues and we follow the left bank for some time. We trek to Gumba among meadows. A lot of alpine flowers can be seen in bloom. Blue poppy can be seen here in profusion. After fording two side nullah from Khanjar you reach Gyere Lama where remains of avalanche hit houses and fields can be seen.
Day 9 (Gumba - Gangjuk, 10 km):
The climb to the next place of halt is very stiff. Camp at the snout, of the glacier. Scenic view of Gurhdhar and Great Himalayan ranges can be had from here.
Day 10 (Gangjuk - Gangjuk II, 11 km):
Slog over the glacier to reach Tara sumdo La, altitude 5358 m. This is a very narrow pass. Descent from the pass is equally gruelling as you have to trek on loose moraine. Camp on the snout of the glacier.
Day 11 (Gangjuk II - Thach, 12 km):
After crossing river Barsi trek down the boulder strewn path to reach grassy meadow area for camping. Shepherds with their herds can be seen there.
Day 12 (Thach - Zanskar Sumdo, 14 km):
Camp at the confluence of two nullahs.
Day 13 (Mune - Padum, 14 km):
From the gompa climb down a steep incline to the main track. Two hrs. trek brings you to Bardan gompa a kagyud-pa gompa famous for its 180 cm high mani prayer wheel. From this place a dusty motorable road leads to Padum (3650 m). Bardan gompa was founded by Shabdru, who also founded Hemis gompa in Ladakh and later went to Bhutan. Padum is the administrative headquarters of Zanskar. Palace of the king of Zanskar is in ruins destroyed by the Dogras.
Day 14 (Padum - Manali):
We drive to Manali. Overnight in Manali.
Day 15 (Manali - New Delhi):
We drive back to New Delhi via Chandigarh. Depart New Delhi. Transfer to airport for flight to onwards journey. Blue Poppy or Myar Valley Trek concludes.
