Dharamsala Manali Trek
Dharamsala - Manali Trek is unique in its own right. It gives us a glimpse of culture of Tibet, takes us through valley that has numerous Himalayan herbs, scenic mountain views, and not to forget the natural forests and temples and monasteries. This trek has it all that a trekker requires along with best of culture and heritage.
Itinerary (Dharamsala - Manali Trek):

Day 1 (New Delhi, India):
Arrive Delhi. Meet our representative. Transfer to hotel. Sightseeing Delhi. Board overnight train to Pathankot.
Day 2 (Pathankot - Dharamsala, 1800 M):
On second day of Dharamsala - Manali Trek, we drive to Dharamsala. Visit monasteries in Dharamsala. Overnight in Dharamsala.
Day 3 (Dharamsala - Bir):
We drive to reach Bir. Bir is emerging as a popular tourists destination because of Buddhist monasteries. There are good Tibetan settlements, and foreigners are attracted to study the Tibetan Culture. There are beautiful tea gardens and tourists enjoy the Kangra tea flavour. Overnight in Bir.
Day 4 (Bir - Billing, 2800 M):
Next destination of trek is Billing, Billing is located on a ridge without any vegetation. Billing is famous for conducting hang-gliding, para-gliding competition. We get a panoramic view of the valley below. From this place we can choose to go to Barabhangal. Overnight in camp.
Day 5 (Billing - Kothi Kohar village, 14 km):
Kothoi Kohar falls in the backward area of Chhota Bhangal en route one can see many species of herbal plants. The catchment area of the nearby village, i.e., Rubling river and other tributaries from the Uhi river which later merges at barot in to Lama Dugh river which descends from Lohardi.
Day 6 (Kothi Kohar - Lohardi, 19 km):
Lohardi is a lovely village on the left side of the Lama Dugh river. This area is becoming more and more popular amongst foreign tourists for its quietness and exquisite beauty. Lohardi is now coming up with a small town. At a distance of 4 km, village Swar is perched on a hillside and has terraced field of potato cultivation and apple orchards. This region is visited by botanists for collection of rare species of medicinal plants of their interest.
Day 7 (Lohardi - Lahesh Cave, 3200 M):
On the 7th day of Dharamsala - Manali Trek, we reach Lahesh Cave. This trek is moderate one and is visited by the local people and trekkers to cross Sari Pass which paves the way to Kullu valley. Lahesh cave can accommodate 3-4 persons in emerging. To have a tent at this place will be a pride possession for a comfortable sleep.
Day 8 (Lahesh Cave - Tenu village, 2750 M):
Dharamsala - Manali Trek continues and we reach Tenu village. Tenu village is the last village of Kullu valley. People are utmost orthodoxical and do not compromise with their customs and traditions. One can have good look of the Kullu valley all along the route.
Day 9 (Tenu village - Solang village, 18 km):
The trek descends to Raghol village and many small villages come in intervals. Sori Nullah meanders all along the trek route which terminates at Solang village. Overnight in Solang.
Day 10 (Solang - Manali):
We drive from Solang to Manali. Reach Manali. Overnight in hotel.
Day 11 (Manali):
Day at leisure. We enjoy local sightseeing like the market place, the Naggar Castle, etc. Overnight in hotel.
Day 12 (Manali - New Delhi):
We drive back to New Delhi via Chandigarh. Depart New Delhi. Transfer to airport for flight to onwards journey. Dharamsala - Manali Trek concludes.
