Indus Valley Trek
The Indus Valley is the soul of Ladakh and is strategically the most important part. Its borders touch those of Pakistan, Afghanistan, China and India.This is a large valley formed by the main channel of the Indus River as it flows across Ladakh. Passing through a vast inhabited wilderness at the very heart of the Himalayas, the Indus valley region comprises of some of the least explored places of Ladakh.
This specially designed hiking and trekking tour to Indus Valley in Ladakh, Himalayas is a combined effort of a team of certified mountaineers and travel agents in India aiming at making travel economical and affordably cheap for the budget trekker walking in Leh, Ladakh as well as maintaining quality at par with the world-class standards. We feel our job, as tour operators and trek guides, is to design treks giving our customers a memorable experience in trekking adventure.
Itinerary (Indus Valley Trek):
New Delhi - Leh - Stok Palace - Bagso Fort - Pobe La - Yangthang - Lago La - Wanlah - Lamayuru - Leh - New Delhi

Day 1 (New Delhi, India):
Arrive Delhi. Meet Gypsy Feet representative. Indus Valley Trek begins. Flight to Leh.
Day 2 (Leh, Ladakh):
On second day of Indus Valley Trek, we tour Leh city including its Seventeenth century palace and Gompa.
Day 3 (Shey, Tikse, and Hemis Gompas):
Tour of Shey, Tikse, and Hemis Gompas, the spiritual heart of the Indus Valley.
Day 4 (Stok Palace, Ladakh):
On fourth day of Indus Valley Trek, we tour Stok palace, home of the hereditary rulers of Ladakh, and Spitok gompa.
Day 5 (Bagso Fort):
Next destination of Indus Valley Trek is Bagso Fort. We visit Basgo fort and Alchi gompa, a remarkably well preserved 11th century gompa and one of the artistic treasures of the Himalayas.
Day 6 (Pobe La):
Trek over Pobe La (3550 metres) to Yangthang.
Day 7 (Yangthang):
Trek to Rizong gompa and back to Yangthang.
Day 8 (Lago La):
Trek over Sermanchan La (3750 metres) and Lago La (3750 metres).
Day 9 (Wanlah):
Trek to Temisgam, then over Bongbong La (3630 metres) to Khaltse, then by jeep to Wanlah. Camp at Wanlah.
Day 10 (Lamayuru):
Trek from Wanlah over Prinkiti La (3725 metres) to Lamayuru. Camp at Lamayuru.
Day 11 (Leh, Ladakh):
Return by jeep to Leh.
Day 12 (New Delhi, India):
Morning flight to Delhi, on arrival check in at Hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 13 (New Delhi, India):
Depart New Delhi. Transfer to airport for flight to onwards journey. Indus Valley Trek concludes.
