Maidi Nadaun Trek
Maidi - Nadaun Trek is a journey that promises deep and refreshing communion with nature in its varying beauty. Madi - Nadaun trek takes us though the lush river valleys, orchards, gurgling streams, forests, and ancient temples with birdsong enchant any and every trekker mesmerising him to its beauty.
Itinerary (Maidi - Nadaun Trek):

Day 1 (New Delhi, India):
Arrive Delhi. Meet our representative. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2 (New Delhi - Maidi):
On second day of Maidi Nadaun Trek, we take a morning train to Chandigarh. Arrive chandigarh. Transfer to Maidi. Overnight in Maidi.
Day 3 (Maidi - Rapho):
We trek mildy around Maidi and visit the small temple of Maidi which has a nice camping ground. We camp there. Overnight in camp.
Day 4 (Rapho - Brobaddar):
On fourth day, we trek to reach Brobaddar. It is a nice trek with picterusque scences en route. Overnight in camp.
Day 5 (Brobaddar - Pirsulli):
Next destination of trek is Pirsulli, where we reach after 3-4 hours of trekking and visit the famous Nag devta temple where the locals worship Nag (snake) Devta. Overnight in Pirsulli.
Day 6 (Pirsulli - Nadaun):
We trek to reach village of Nadaun. This town became famous when the Kangra rulers shifted their Capital here after they lost Kangra Fort to the army of Jahangir. However, it lost its glory when Raja Sansar Chand re-captured Kangra Fort and became the strong ruler of Kangra valley again. It is situated on the Shimla-Dharamshala road on the bank of Beas River, 20 kms. from Hamirpur town and 43 kms from Kangra. It is peaceful town with a good Rest House,an Old Palace and Shiva temple. The Palace Building at Amtar still houses some of the paintings of that time. Jawalajee temple is also not very far and can be visited from here. This place provides excellent facilities for Mahaseer fishing in the Beas River flowing close by. Another attraction is the river rafting from this place to Dehra and further. There are beautiful camping sites for anglers. In view of its beautiful setting, there is a famous local saying "He who goes to Nadaun, why should be return".
Day 7 (Nadaun - Chandigarh):
On day 7, we reach Jawalijee where we visit the temple of Mata Jawalamukhi. Then we continue our journey to chandigarh. In chandigarh, we catch overnight train to New Delhi.
Day 8 (New Delhi):
In morning we reach New Delhi. Transfer to airport for flight to onwards journey. Maidi Nadaun Trek concludes.
