Panch Kedar Trek
The Panch Kedar trek includes all the five shrines associated with the legend. All of them are situated in the Kedar Valley. At Kedarnath, which is situated at the head of Mandakini River, the Linga is a natural rock that resembles at the hump of a bull. Madhmaheshwar, situated at the base of Chaukhamba Peak is at an altitude of 3500m.
Here the Linga is worshipped in the form of a naval. Tungnath, where the arm of Shiva appeared is the highest temple in Garhwal and is situated at an altitude of 3810m, 500m above the temple of Tunganath is Chandrashila.
The panoramic view of the Himalayas is breathtaking from here. Rudranath is where the face of Shiva had appeared. Here, there is a natural rock temple, in which the Shiva Mukha is worshipped. To reach Rudranath, one has to trek through alpine meadows and dense forests, crossing an altitude of more than 4000m. Kalpeshwar is situated in the beautiful valley of Urgam. There is a cave temple here, and Shiva is worshipped in his matted hair form.

Day 1 (Rishikesh, Garhwal Himalayas India):
Panch Kedar Trek begins at Muni-ki-Reti, Rishikesh. Meet Himalayan Trekker representative. Dinner and overnight at Muni-ki-Reti, Rishikesh.
Day 2 (Gaurikund):
On day 2, we drive 209 kms to reach Gaurikund. Hot lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Gaurikund.
Day 3 (Kedarnath):
15 kms trek to Kedarnath Hot Lunch en route. Dinner & overnight at Kedarnath.
Day 4 (Gaurikund):
15 kms trek to Gaurikund with packed lunch. Then drive 40 kms to Guptkashi. Dinner & overnight at Gaurikund.
Day 5 (Gaundhar):
On day 5 of Panch Kedar Trek, we undertake a 17-km trek to Gaundhar with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in camp.
Day 6 (Madhmaheshwar):
10 kms trek to Madhmaheshwar (3289m) with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in Camp.
Day 7 (Gaundhar):
Return trek to Gaundhar 10 kms with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in camp.
Day 8 (Jagasu):
On day 8 of Panch Kedar Trek, we walk 12 kms to reach Jagasu. Then drive to Ukhimath 16 kms with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in Jagasu.
Day 9 (Tungnath):
35 kms drive to Chopta. Further 4 kms trek to Tungnath with packed lunch. In the afternoon, return trek to Chopata. Dinner & overnight in camp.
Day 10 (Panargupha):
30 kms drive to Sagar. Further 10 kms trek to Panargupha. Dinner & overnight in camp.
Day 11 (Rudranath):
On day, we undertake a 12-km trek to Rudranath with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in camp
Day 12 (Dumuk):
18 kms trek to Dumuk with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in camp
Day 13 (Kalpeshwar):
14 kms trek to Urgam/ Kalpeshwar Mahadev with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in camp.
Day 14 (Helang):
9 kms trek to Helang. Further 70 kms drive to Karnprayag. Hot lunch en route. Dinner & overnight in Helang.
Day 15 (Rishikesh, Garhwal Himalayas India):
173 kms drive to Rishikesh. Hot lunch en route. Arrival Rishikesh. Panch Kedar Trek concludes.
