Sunderdhunga Trek
Sunerdhunga Glacier is situated in Sunerdhunga valley of Bageshwar district. The road head for Sunerdhunga glacier is Song 41 km from bageshwar, 114 km from Almora, 176 km from Naintal and 194 km from Kathgodam. It is beautiful trek of 41 km to Kathaliya from Song. You can do Sukhram cave, Devikund, Baluni Bugyal and Maiktoli glacier trek from kathaliya.
Kathaliya is the most beautiful place with lots of waterfalls. Maiktoli peak and Panwalidwar peak are visible from there. The maximum height one can gain is 15000 ft in Durgakot glacier near Sukhram cave. The meaning of Sunderdhunga is beautiful stone. There are lots of beautiful stones and that is why it is called sunderdhunga. Sunderdhunga is in outer range of Nanda Devi sanctuary. Jatoli is the last village in this route.

Itinerary (Sundardhunga Glacier Trek):
New Delhi - Hardwar - Gwaldam - Song - Dhakuri - Jatoli - Dhingiyadhung - Kathliya - Sukhram Cave - Maikoli - Sunderdhunga - Maikoli - Dhakuri - Hardwar - New Delhi

Day 1 (New Delhi, India):
Arrive New Delhi. Meet Gypsy Feet representative. Sundhardhung Glacier Trek Starts. New Delhi to Hardwar. Overnight in Hardwar.
Day 2 (Hardwar to Gwaldam):
On second day of Sundardhunga Trek, we drive from Hardwar to Gwaldam. Gwaldam with its salubrious climate is a little heaven nestling in the woods. There are several orchards generally of apple. One can watch the Trishul peaks coming even closer. Check in TRH/Hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3 (Gwaldam - Song - Dhakuri):
Drive to Song, 13 Kms trek to Dhakuri (2680 m). Dinner & overnight stay in camps.
Day 4 (Jatoli):
From Dhakuri one has to go to village Jatoli, which is 7 Kms away from Khati. From Khati follow pinder river upto Warbham - the meeting place of Pinder River and Sunderdhunga stream. Now along Sunderdhunga stream, reach Jaitoli crossing boulders ascent for night halt. Dinner & overnight stay in camps.
Day 5 (Dhingiyadhung):
From Jatoli (2000 m) upto Dhungiya Dhaun(2700 m), about 8 Kms is a tough trek. Follow along Sunderdhunga stream upto Dhingiyadhung for night halt. Dinner & overnight stay in camps.
Day 6 (Kathliya):
On day 6 of Sundardhunga trek, we walk from Dhungiyadhung to Kathliya. Overnight in camp.
Day 7 (Sukhram Cave):
Trek fom Kathalia to Sukhram Cave.
Day 8 (Maikoli):
On day 8 of Sunderdhunga Glacier Trek, we trek from Sukhram Cave (4320 M) to Maikoli.
Day 9 (Sunderdhunga):
Stenuous downhill trek along Maiktoli stream to Sunderdhunga and back to Maiktoli. Dinner & overnight stay in camps.
Day 10 (Maikoli):
Trek from Maikoli to Kathalia. Overnight in camp.
Day 11 (Jatoli):
Trek from Kathalia to Jatoli. Overnight in camp.
Day 12 (Dhakuri):
Trek from Jatoli to Dhakuri. Overnight in camp.
Day 13 (Bageshwar):
Trek from Dhakuri to Bageshwar. Overnight in camp.
Day 14 (Hardwar):
Trek from Bageshwar to Hardwar. Overnight in hotel.
Day 15 (New Delhi):
Hardwar to New Delhi. Sundardhunga Glacier Trek concludes.
