What fun is it that you are on a tour of Goa and you don't visit the Cavelossim beach in Goa. This beach in Goa is relatively cleaner and is home to a couple of shacks. Cavelossim is famous because of its beach resorts and the facility it offers for dolphin watching. Situated close to this beach Goa is the sprawling five star hotel, Leela Palace, where staying means holidaying in style. 
Then there is this resort, Goa Dona Sylvia resort, where you can get to taste the culinary delights of Goa at fairly reasonable rates. A huge shopping mall has also come up opposite Dona Sylvia that comprises of a combination of shops, restaurants and travel agents. Goa Dona Sylvia also arranges boat rides for the tourists, which they can avail to watch the dolphins. If the tourists are lucky, they can even get to touch the dolphins.
If you are planning to venture out into the sea for dolphin-watching at night, then some hotels at Goa Cavelossim beach offer a special facility to call for the boat service. At certain points near the landing area, you will find bare bulbs with switches, which if you flash will signal the boatman to come to you.
To reach Cavelossim beach, you can take buses or taxis that are available in plenty. Or else, you can always hire a bike which is the most comfortable way to tour Goa.
