The Pristine and Calm Valley of Kullu has a range of beautiful handicrafts and a fabulous shawl to offer in Khara Bazaar in the town is an interesting place to shop. Thick Woollen shawls called pattoos, traditional shoes called pullan, beautiful blankets and the unique colourful cape of kullu are some of the things kullu has to offer.
The beautiful handicrafts are a special attraction of this picturesque valley. Interesting range of woollen shawls and a Plethora of Tibetan Carpets is what the hill station of Dalhousie offers best. The Tibetan Handicrafts Centre, a little away from Gandhi chowk in Dalhousie, is where you get the best designs of Tibetan Carpets. The shops nearby have many other things to offer.
The Mcleodganj in Dharamshala of the Kangra Valley are known for its Tibetan Crafts. From Tibetan Clothes, to bags, hats as well as carpets, the Office Tibetan Handicrafts offers excellent designs. The Tibetan Handicrafts Society also has a range to offer.
Tibetan Herbs and medicines are also found in this town too. The erstwhile trade route to Tibet, almost are handicrafts of the region of Himachal Pradesh, still reflect the Tibetan influence
