Hunumangarh
Hanumangarh is basically a small town and district head quarter in rajasthan surrounded by Sriganganagar, Churu, Jhunjhunun and Haryana. It is approx. 350 kms far from new Delhi.Main Earning source of the people of Hanumangarh and areas neraby is agriculture. The city is small and peaceful, a good place to live. Locality is also good, people are social and helpful. You can find here mixing of typical Rajasthani culture (Rural) and Urban (western). After Jalaluddin was murdered by his nephew the fort passed into the hands of the Bhatti Rajputs and they ruled for a very long period, apart from a brief interval after which they went back to ruling. The short spell in which they were ousted was when the Turk Timur the Lame invaded India and captured Bhatner along with many other places as well. But Timur had only come only to loot and plunder, and once that was done he left for good. Subsequently Bhatner reverted back to the control of the Bhattis.

1. Bhatner Fort
The Bhatner fort, built by Abhay Rao Bhatti has witnessed many important events of Indian history. Merchants from middle Asia, Kabul and Sindh used to pass from this area while going to Delhi and Agra for trade. Timur the lame has mentioned in his biography that he had never seen such a strongly built and secured fort in India
2. Kalibanga Museum
Kalibanga, located at a distance of around 20 kms from the city is renowned for its connections with ancient Indus Valley Civilization. Items like utensils, jewellary, toys and photographs of ancient cities and streets found in the excavation are kept here.
3. Sangaria Museum
Sir Chhotu Ram memorial museum, situated at Sangaria at a distance of 25 Kms. from district headquarter is known for its artifacts. The clay, stone and metal statues, old coins etc collected from different parts of the country have been exhibited at this museum.
